Taipei, Taiwan (Dec. 29, 2006) - The Evergreen Group will establish its own liner agency company, Evergreen Shipping Spain, S.L. (EES), in Valencia, Spain, with a branch office in Barcelona.
EES�s sub-agents will operate in Portugal, Algeria, Tunisia and other cities in Spain, such as Madrid. The newly formed company will commence operations on January 1, 2007.
The new agency will ensure customers in the growing world market in Spain having sufficient service to meet their requirements. EES will represent the interests of Evergreen Marine Corp., Hatsu Marine Ltd. and Italia Marittima S.p.A. and is a joint venture between the Evergreen Group and the Green Iberica, S.A.
The President of EES is Mr. Albert Ko.
