Three Evergreen Group companies were honored at this year's China Freight Industry Awards, organized by the China Shipping Gazette. The awards, among the most important in the Chinese maritime industry, were handed out on November 7 at the Guangzhou Dongfang Hotel.
Evergreen Marine won three prizes: General Service - China/America Route Best Shipping Company (silver prize) ; China/Mediterranean Route Best Shipping Company (bronze prize); and China/Japan Route, China/Korea Route and China/Southeast Asia Route Best Shipping Company (award of excellence). Hatsu Marine Limited and Italia Marittima S.p.A. won General Service �V China/America Route Best Shipping Company (award of excellence) and China/Mediterranean Route Best Shipping Company (award of excellence) respectively.
This is the fifth year the China Freight Industry Awards have been held. For the competition, China Shipping Gazette analyzed many factors, including branding, innovation, honesty in operations, port call punctuality, client relations, professionalism and service quality.
