The "Hatsu Sigma", one of the new S-type 7,024-TEU container vessels of the Evergreen Group, is arriving at Kaohsiung today on her maiden trip to this southern Taiwan port.

The new ship was delivered to Evergreen Group company Hatsu Marine on November 14 in Japan. She is presently deployed in the Trans-Pacific Southwest (TPS) Service, with port rotation covering Yantian, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Los Angeles, Tacoma, Kaohsiung, Yantian. The voyage takes 35 days.
