Hatsu Marine Limited is to hold its first Global Agency Management Meeting (GAMM) on 4 and 5 November 2004 to lay down strategies for future business development and new service offerings.

The meeting, which will involve some 80 senior personnel from Hatsu's management and agents worldwide, will be hosted by Maurice Storey, Chairman of Hatsu Marine, at the shipping line's headquarters in London.

Hatsu Marine Limited, a UK-flag container shipping company established in January 2002, now owns seven container vessels and will be boosting this considerably by taking delivery of a series of post-Panamax newbuildings over the coming years.

It has also embarked on a programme of container acquisition and now has a fleet of more than 5,000 20ft and 40ft containers.

GAMM will become a regular annual fixture focused on optimising the deployment of Hatsu's fleet and equipment, the evolution of service offerings and port strategies and continuously developing value-added services for shippers.
